Rose Rockey

VP / Secretary

Rose Rockey has been an owner and officer in the business for over 35 years and currently serves as the Vice President and Secretary for PDC. She is very active in the AV community, having served as a volunteer and Board Member of Assistance League of Antelope Valley and also serving on the Board of Homes 4 Families. While not at work Rose enjoys spending time with her family and golfing with friends.

John Rockey Jr.

Chief Financial Officer

John Rockey Jr started full time with PDC in 1992, working his way through each and every field operation of the drywall industry from framing layout and installation to texture and pick up repair work. He continues to keep current “B” and “C-9” contractors licenses along with a vast knowledge of materials and codes pertaining to drywall and metal stud framing. John is active with his family showing horses and is involved in community philanthropic organizations.

OSHA 30, OSHA 10, Forklift safety instructor, CPR / First Aid Qualified (updated every two years), Hilti certified powder operated tools user, Proficient in Quick Bid and On Screen Take off estimating programs.

Justin Rockey

Chief Executive Officer

Justin grew up in the drywall industry and knew he wanted to carry on a legacy. After playing college golf, Justin began driving the dump truck in 1999. With 25 years in the business Justin has worked in every operation of drywall from framing, hanging, taping, texture, pick up crew and then into the office as a salesmen. He also spent many years as the VP of Operations learning to run the day to day operation and now serves as the CEO. While not at PDC Justin is an avid cutting horse competitor and won a World Championship in 2020.

C-9 and B licensed – PRDA Board Member – Southwest Carpenters Residential Committee Member – Member WWCA – Osha 30

Jonny Magana

General Superintendent

Jonny Magana started at Progression Drywall as a full time drywall installer in 2006, he has worked his way up ever since becoming the hanging operation superintendent in 2011, determined to reach the top he continued to educate himself attending FMI project managing training courses , journeyman status with the carpenters union, osha 30 certified , fork lift certified , cpr certified . Jonny is proudly now the General Superintendent since 2017 and is in charge of all operations in California. Jonny is a father of 3 young girls and enjoys his “off road” vehicles and family in his spare time.

Joey Gorman

Controller

Joey started with PDC in 2010 as the Controller. With his expertise he is able to oversee all of the accounting, payroll and compliance operations. With over 20 years in construction accounting, Joey’s wealth of knowledge is a vital part of our company.

Vern Beazel

Senior Estimator

Vern has worked with PDC since 1986 as an estimator of drywall and other construction services. When Vern is not working he enjoys spending his time with his wife Nancy, their 7 children and 12 grandchildren. PDC is very grateful to have his knowledge and experience as a Senior Estimator on our staff.

Jose Medrano Jr.

Senior Project Manager

Fresh out of high school in 2012, Jose ventured into the drywall business following his father’s footsteps, while continuing to pursue his education. In May of 2017 he graduated from California State University Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and 5 years of field experience. Jose has worked his way to become head of our Project Management Team and continues to manage projects for PDC.

Austin Petrey

Estimator

Austin started at PDC in June of 2016 after previously attending Cerro Coso College. Prior to PDC Austin worked for a company building high end African Safari Rifles with heavy machinery. After 5 years on the job Austin is an essential part of our estimating team.
